Which electrically-conductive material can withstand 1000 deg Celsius, and will not be eroded by sparking?

When an electrical arc occurs between 2 metal conductors, spark-erosion takes place. When the dimensions are fairly small, wear can be extremely high. Spark-plug material may be suitable, but is only available in large sizes.
