Is it now cool to be in todays society?

How often do you see openly gay people on television? Today it seems that the media is portraying this as normal or ok. I cant wrap my head around where this country is going. I believe that it is against the natural order of things to want to have with someone of your own gender. Now i feel like my convictions and opinions being marginalized and that this whole idea of tolerance is the degradation of our society. Fire away.
