Conservatives: Is it more important to you if a law is broken?
or does the motivation behind the breaking of the law mitigate it to the point of "moral legality" to you? I keep seeing posts from you guys saying the CIA was only doing what they were told and apparently keep missing the ACTUAL point that they may have been lying about it which is AGAINST THE LAW. Does the simple umption of patriotic motivation trump all illegalities within your ideology? Another prime example of this is your desire not to investigate Cheney or Bush as it seems to me that you all think it is more important that they did what they may have allegedly done because they were "protecting us" regardless of whether or not they were doing it legally. This all seems rather skeptical to me since I say if someone breaks the law or there is enough evidence to at least investigate it, it should be done...NO EXCEPTIONS (Obama included). By your actions (or more appropriately 'inactions') you are giving everyone the impression that if WE do it, it's legal, if you do it, you're going to jail! Why the hypocrisy?
